During the HR Technology Conference and Expo in Las Vegas, I had a chance to walk the exhibit floor to get some product demonstrations. Here is what I learned about Human Concepts:

Human Concepts has taken the Enterprise version of OrgPlus to create their Organizational Planning Suite. It approaches the process of workforce planning from a very visual perspective and provides a drag and drop interface to making changes to your org structure. There are three core modules Visualization, Plan & Model, and Transition.

You can see from the demonstration there is a lot more insight you can gain by looking at your workforce holistically, including or excluding the contingent workers, spans of control, as well as drilling in to identify competency gaps.
