Talent Circles Demo

Review

There has been a lot of talk about the concept of creating talent pools, talent pipelines, and the term "du jour" talent communities. But most of what I have seen in the market is nothing more than custom branded landing pages to segment the candidate flow to your job postings. Talent Circles is about to change all of it.

To create anything like a community there needs to be multi-directional interaction. Web 2.0 technology is designed for interaction, yet we still tend to use it for posting jobs and filling requisitions.

When I got a look at Talent Circles, I said to myself "finally, someone has decided to pull this all together!"

They have built a dynamic portal that brings together social media, web meeting, chat, video, and job listings all on a single interactive platform. In the video demo you will see the following:

  • Registration with social profile
  • Searching for people to connect with or jobs
  • Calendar and messages
  • Recorded interactions and sharing content
  • Scheduling meetings and webinars
  • Job listings
  • Candidate segmentation
  • Reporting
What I like most about Talent Circles is that they are taking a platform approach to the market and will be building open API's so that clients can decide to use certain functionality or integrate. For example, if you already have an enterprise deal with WebEx or GoToMeeting, you can integrate them as an alternative.

By far one of the hottest new products I have seen this year. I am looking forward to test driving it further and talking to customers who are using it.
